Welcome to ReelRise ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our mobile application ("ReelRise"). By using ReelRise, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Media Access: ReelRise requests access to your iPhone's photo and video gallery to allow you to import videos into the app. We only access the videos you choose to import and do not store or use any other media from your device.

Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: We may use third-party solutions to collect information about your device, such as your IP address, operating system, and device type. This information is used to ensure the App functions properly on your device.

Usage Data: We may use third-party solutions to collect data about your usage of ReelRise, including analytics data, to help us understand how the app is being used and to improve it.

This automatically collected device and usage data is analytical only and is not used to identify you personally. Information from a social media account you choose to connect is different, and is described in "Connected Social Media Accounts" below.

The third-party solutions we may use include the following systems of collecting and processing analytical data:

• Facebook SDK, a software of Facebook company that collects and processes data following the data use policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
• Firebase, a software of Google which collects and processes data per the data use policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Appsflyer, a mobile attribution and marketing analytics platform that collects and processes data in accordance with its data use policy: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/services-privacy-policy/
• Amplitude, a product analytics platform that collects and processes data in accordance with its data use policy: https://amplitude.com/privacy

Connected Social Media Accounts

ReelRise lets you connect your Instagram and TikTok accounts. Connecting is entirely optional, and you can disconnect at any time. We access a connected account only through that platform's official API, only after you have authorized us, and only to provide the features described below.

What we access

• Profile information: your username, display name, profile picture, biography, and follower and following counts.
• Your own posts: your videos, Reels and posts, along with their captions, thumbnails and links.
• Statistics about your own posts: views, likes, comments, shares, saves and reach, as reported by the platform.

We only access the account you connect. We do not access your private messages, and we do not collect personal information about your followers or about other users.

How we use it

• To produce your account audit and content recommendations — for example, which posting times, caption styles and formats perform best for you.
• To personalize the AI assistant's advice using your own content and results.
• To publish a video to your account, and only when you explicitly ask us to. If you tap to publish, we upload that video to the connected account on your behalf. We never post anything without a direct action from you.

We do not sell this information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with other users.

Disconnecting and deleting

You can disconnect an account at any time inside ReelRise, or remove ReelRise's access from the platform itself (Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites; TikTok: Settings → Security and Login → Manage app permissions). When access is removed we stop retrieving data from the account and delete the stored access tokens.

If you request deletion of your data through Instagram, we delete the Instagram profile information, posts and statistics we stored for you. You can also delete your data at any time by following the instructions at reelrise.app/delete-account, or by emailing support@reelrise.app.

AI Processing

ReelRise uses artificial intelligence to analyze your content and generate feedback, edits and recommendations. To do this, the videos, images, captions and account statistics relevant to the feature you are using are sent to third-party AI providers, processed, and returned to us as analysis. These providers act on our behalf to deliver the feature.

The AI providers we use include:

Use of Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain ReelRise.
• Analyze your videos and connected accounts to produce feedback, audits and recommendations.
• Publish a video to a connected account when you ask us to.
• Understand and analyze how you use ReelRise.
• To improve ReelRise and the user’s experience.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as analytics services (e.g., Firebase, Facebook SDK) and the AI providers described in "AI Processing" above.
• Social Media Platforms: When you ask us to publish a video, we send that video and its caption to the platform you chose (Instagram or TikTok) in order to post it to your account.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid request by a governmental authority. We review every such request for legality, challenge requests we consider unlawful, disclose only the minimum information necessary, and document each request — see our Government & Law Enforcement Data Requests policy.

Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.

You can delete your data at any time by following the instructions at reelrise.app/delete-account, or by emailing support@reelrise.app. Deleting your account removes the data we hold about you, including any information retrieved from social media accounts you connected.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for any changes.
